Sailing Stone is the geological phenomenon. The stone moves on the valley without human or animal intervention. This phenomenon have been a center of scientific controversy for decades. This is one of the great mysteries of the stones which weigh more or less like serious adults can move itself. It has become quite complicated puzzle in the last decade. Death Valley mysterious stone has been found above the valley with no human settlements and the valley is filled with dried cracked mud during the summer and ice during winter. Many geologists have gone to this place known as the Racetrack Playa and the surrounding areas.

Stone sailed mysterious Death Valley moves on the ground and leaving behind a trail is very smooth. Some geologists come to the conclusion that the mysterious stone Death Valley moves through the soil when wet mud by fine droplets of ice and rock slid over them with the help of the wind. But this is not entirely correct because the rock moved during the summer when the temperature is too high and even dry. Another scientist said that wind and ice both are the favoured hypothesis for these mysterious sliding rocks. However, this theory does not explain evidence of different rocks starting side by side and moving at different rates and in disparate directions. Moreover, the physics calculations do not fully support this theory as wind speeds of hundreds of miles per hour would be needed to move some of the stones.
